Posted A4 size paper on 318 x 402 mm paper.
I used acrylic paint and Posca to fill the paper- and used two-hole punches and scissors to make circles and fine straight lines.
I used tweezers and a bond to draw a giraffe by pasting circles and fine straight lines.
I was particular about them.
This work has a fashionable and beautiful image like a model of the Paris Collection when you look at the whole body of the giraffe from a distance,
But when you look only at the face when the giraffe eats food, it is grotesque!
The long purple tongue is very impressive.
I expressed that image.

318×402mｍのボール紙にＡ４サイズのボール紙を貼り付けたこと、アクリル絵の具やポスカなどで塗りつぶしたボール紙を二穴パンチでくり抜いたものや、ハサミで細かい直線に切ったものを、ピンセットを使いボンドで一枚一枚貼り合わせてキリンを描いていく事にはすごくこだわりました。この作品は、たまたまキリンに誰かが餌やりをしている映像を見た時に、「キリンって遠くで全身見てたらパリコレモデルさんみたいにファッショナブルで美しいイメージだけど、顔だけどアップで餌を求めて長い紫色の舌ベロベロ伸ばしてたら案外グロテスクなんだな」と思ったら何か「キリン＝グロテスク」が頭から離れなくなったので、そのイメージを表現してみました。
